What are some GOOD bands similar to Lamb of god? I know they're metalcore but they sound a LOT different than most metalcore bands. I already know about as i lay dying

    Firstly, Lamb of God is "New wave American metal". Also referred to as "Groove Metal".
    Artists you may enjoy could be:
    DevilDriver, Chimaira, Machine Head, Pantera, Job For a Cowboy, Arch Enemy, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Gojira, and Trivium.

    As much as I'd love to sit here and bitch you out about what genre a band is instead of enjoy the music because I have a dick up my ass (sarcasm) here's a few bands that aren't necesarilly all "metalcore" but you might like them

    Actually there Groove metal, metalcore haha :P but i will agree with others well there abit metalcore but not like other metalcore bands so i would not really say there metalcore but they are abit and alot of your answers are just good bands i think his asking for about that is like LoD like groove metal (fast riff's so on) the only one i can think of is a new Perth band called NEFARIA can be sound on http://www.reverbnation.com/nefariaband there bassed on lamb of god pretty much

    I've only ever listened to their song Omerta, but you might want to check out Mercyful Fate. There's also Dehumanization by Arch Enemy that is somewhat similar.
