If you miss your pill for a couple of days, spotting and cramping is very normal. It is not normally advised that you should ever take three pills in one day. Usually, when missing two days in a row, you are instructed to take 2 pills for the next 2 days and use an alternate form of birth control for the rest of the month. No form of birth control is 100% effective and the pill does NOT protect against STDs. Use a condom. It's better to be safe than sorry.

You're reading If I took 3 birth control pills in 1 day and have a little bit of spotting and cramping for 2 days...is that normal? Am I pregnant? I know you spot if you mess up your BC pattern, so I'm not too worried...but should I be?
