I think I would be concerned either way, thats a lot in a month.
-
Gained. I wish I could lose 20 pounds, and then some.
-
lost... it reminds me of that movie "thinner"
-
Not attempting to lose the weight in that short period of time, would be a worry of bad health. You know why you gain weight. this is not a worry.
-
If I lost 20lbs in a month.
-
I would be concerned either way. I think the body would struggle to adapt to either situation.
-
For me gaining would worry me more.
-
Either.
-
Gaining. I'd have a bloody party if I lost 20 pounds. That would be a bit worrying, though... But happy worrying.
-
In a month I would worry about both of them.
-
Both unless it was a concerted effort on my part, but gaining would worry me more.
-
I would be thrilled if I could lose 20lbs in a month...gaining would panic me.
-
If I lost 20lbs I'd be weighing less than 100lbs .. and that ain't health for a 20 year old 5'7" female! I'm already quite concerned with my weight as it is, let alone if I lose another 20!
-
Both would be very unhealthy, but I would be most concerned if I lost that much. I'm already close to being underweight according to BMI
-
Considering that would be about 5 pounds a week, that's insane! Based on how short I am, either of those would make me very unhealthy...but I (personally) would worry more over gaining it.
-
I could stand a couple of -20lb months... I think I would worry either way, both are extremely unhealthy.
-
would love to lose 20lbs...anytime..loll..
-
Losing it!
-
Both
-
it would worry me if i gained it. i would be OVERJOYED if i lost it. and i highly doubt i could do it in a month, but if i could that would be AMAZING!
-
If you lost 20lbs in one month some thing would be seriously wrong. I would be very concerned.
-
I have lost 10 pounds in one month and I didn't even want or intend to. So 20 pounds would freak me out. I'm only 160 so I'm trying to gain weight.
-
gaining I'm lean and don't wanna lose more weight
-
It would be difficult either way. I've worked really hard at Weight Watchers to get down to and maintain my current weight. I would be very upset to gain 20 lbs. But, if I lost that much in a month at what I weigh now, I'd be concerned about there being something seriously wrong. I only want to get down another 3-4 lbs. 20 lbs would make me underweight.
-
Losing 20 lbs in one month (if not intended) would scare the he** out of me. That is an indication of something being radically wrong. Heck, I could gain 5 lbs a week without even trying if I ate the wrong foods. Also, I know some people who have had to take steroids for various conditions and that puts a great deal of weight on you very quickly as well. Gaining weight rapidly is more benign in my mind that losing weight quickly. :)

Losing 20. Losing that much with no change in lifestyle is a sign something is wrong.
-
Gaining. I would LOVE to lose 20 in a month
-
It would depend on what your starting weight was.
-
loosing, because I'm already considered underweight!
