No,I would never join such a corrupt organization.We can thank them for many thousands of deaths in the US because of their gun lobbying.I see with the constant downrating that a person that dislikes guns,has no say in their opinion of this organization.

I am thinking of it, yet I do not intend to own a gun for myself. Just to shoot for accuracy would be good fun. It isn't wrong to use a gun, as it isn't wrong to use a knife. Still, there are misuses, which should be sorted out. I don't intend to shoot a person with it, but if I was starving, or owned a farm, I believe I would be better off being a good shot, rather than a lousy one, and maiming some poor creature.

Nope. They're very powerful and behind some pretty awful legislation. They have lobbists coming out of their asses, buying Congress hores right and left

I am not a member. My dad is. I know there are rules to govern what weapons a person can have and carry or carry concealed. If you ask me, it is all an attempt to disarm America, and the NRA doesn't need to keep track of me anymore than anyone else, especially government. My most dreaded thought is that these libs just want to know who has the weapons so they can one day arrest us or take us away to prison if we don't voluntarily give them up. Every red-blooded American in this country should have a firearm that has a bullet especially for the federal government loaded in it. These frickin' libs are tyrants and they got a whole line of martyrs just begging for a fight lined up to greet them as they find their way out of power.

NRA is a little too wishy-washy for my tastes, too willing to compromise when we've already compromised away so much. Still, they are the largest and most powerful lobbying group on my behalf so I'm a Life Member. I'm also active in JPFO and GOA which suit me better for their uncompromising positions but they are (at this point) more limited in what they can accomplish.
