• Never saw Doubtfire but Sybil is an incredible film, with arguably Sally's best work, though quite early in her dramatic roles. In fact, it may have been her first dramatic role, occurring after Gidget and the Flying Nun days.

• She was phenominal in Sybil. The film's content is disturbing, but that's what happens when you deal with true stories. Mrs. Doubtfire was a very funny comedy. She's a secondary character to Robin Williams in that one.

• I got a good laugh when recently she was presenting an award.
  As Tom Hanks and his people were approaching the podium to accept it, Sally was getting ready to walk away and barely off-mike you could hear some of the banter, eluding to their past role as Forrest and his mama. It went something like: "Hello Son, how have you been?" "Just fine Mama, I've missed you." I love it when a movie or show refers to another.
