When you give to someone, two people receive. :-)

It is more rewarding to give than it is to receive. (especially when you are talking about punches in the mouth and kicks in the stomach) Seriously, though. Anything you give will come back to you sooner or later. It will be in a different form, and it will be when you most need it. There is immediate gratification when you receive something, but the charm wears off faster than the satisfaction of treating others well.

It gives you a good feeling inside when you give something to someone. When you recieve something, you feel that you should give something back to them. What comes around, goes around, what goes up, must come down.

I love to give. At Christmas I take time to select every present carefully. I try to give gifts that fit the persons taste or personality. It is definitely more fulfilling for me to give than receive. I also do volunteer work. It is very satisfying. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy receiving also! lol

Well, it is more beneficial to think of others than to think of ones self. Hows that? Well if everyone thought only of themselves, no one would be satisfied because we can't always do what needs to be done ourselves, we either don't have the means or the skill. But if we all cared about others, that means that someone out there is caring for us, and everyone gets taken care of. If eveyone is looking out for one another, everyone is looked out for. Thus giving is better than receiving. You are setting the example, you are insituting change, you are providing someone with something they need or want. It's natural to feel good about it, and it gives no resentment. If you wait around to receive things... you'll begin to resent it when no one gives you anything.

Well i wouldn't say its bettert to give but i would say its better to give because your being helpful but sometimes if you give some people could find it patronising so be careful. although its great to recieve at times - like christmas - its not about jesus its about the presents and the love!
