Charity is a personal thing and usually chosen because its dear to your heart for some reason. If you have no personal preferences then maybe you would consider giving your money to a hospice that offers care for the terminally ill, either in the hospice or through home-care nursing. My sister and my mother both benefitted from the wonderful care offered by hospices. And they helped the whole family to come to terms with the loss too.
