  • When my boyfriend try to quit it took him forever and he just kept going back to it, and hes been smoking for 6 years. Then his mum stop really fast and she told him to read this book "Alan Carrs easy way to give up smoking." He read the first chapter and just stoped no cravings nothing. But you have to have somthing that you think about that makes you want to give up okay, because it won't work it you like smoking. Good luck
  • Hypnotherapy worked for me. Well it worked for five years and then I slipped back into the habit. I've subsequently quit cold turkey. I think it's a mindset thing, you just have to be really determined to quit. As for cravings, just wait them out, they fade after 5-10 minutes. Try and snack on fruit/veg when you get irrational hunger pangs. I found that drinking endless cups of herbal tea helped a lot with the detox and with needing something to do with your hands and mouth. The worst thing is you get a horrible taste in your mouth when you first quit, it will go away after the first week, stick with it. Good luck!
  • Self will power. It tool all I could do and lasted 12 days and after that I could not stand to even smell cigarette smoke.
