    Sounds like you've got either a bad replacement starter, or a bad cable going to the starter.

    sometimes,well often nowadays,the new starter are badly rebuild,have it check,or just return it...turning the lights on will tell you the battery is not to blame...thats all i know...sometimes the ground is to blame...
