I don't think the better weather will cause an uptick in the stock market. Summer has been known to be the doldrums in the stock market even in the best of years. If the stock market does go up it will be a good signal.
I think you are right. It probably will turn the corner soon. There are some great buys now among banking stocks and financial companies. You just want to stay well diversified to absorb a loss if one of them goes belly up.
