    Some people make notes or an outline beforehand, giving them a road map to follow.
    Commit to writing at least five pages per day, and in three months, you have - voila - a 450 page novel.
    Also, write about something you know or can afford to research.

    Well, you come up with a story and type it up or write it out. Start with a beginning and end with an end. Make it creative, and have a lot of good characters. Decide if you want 1st person or 3rd. You can get good self publishing at lulu.com, but of course, after designing a cover.

    The best stories are original.
