How many of you buy just an anti-virus program like Norton Anti Virus, instead of buying something like Norton INTERNET SECURITY?

Is it safe/will it damage my computer if I remove Norton PC checkup through the Add/Remove Programs list? It acts more like spyware than anything else on my computer, it's useless and annoying :/

i think im gonna try avg cause i cant find it in add/remoce programs.My gf said she was gonna install norton but she never did,and her last hp had anti norton on the computer already.

Go to Control Panel on the Start Menu, and click Add/Remove Programs. Thats about it.

ah ok cool,and i dont see anything there so i installed avg.I keep gettin this hp pop up update,and it still comes up every 2 minutes even after i uninstalled it and after u x it out everytime.
