Go to the park and throw a football. Teach mom to catch, or throw a baseball with pops. You could always do the new, Wii games. Those have tons of games for the family!

Scrabble, tedious but educational. I always thought Clue was fun even though I'm really bad at it. And I'm always Professor Plum and he always turns out to be the killer. Even if it's youngish, guess who? If you're talking about outside, badmitton? I play with my family occasionally.

Here's a fun one. Teams of 2, each person writes 10 famous people on individual bits of paper. Paper in a hat. First team: One person takes a name and describes it to the other, who has to guess. As many as they can in 1 minute. Then carry on around each team. Next time round, the people switch over, and the guesser is the one who describes. Continue until the hat is empty. Each team count up how many names they got, and the score recorded. Round 2: Same as before, but using only one word to describe the name. Round 3: Same as before, but only using mime :) Then the team with the highest score at the end wins! :D

If you have little ones, then Candy Land is a classic. For all others I would recommend the game of LIFE, Operation, and of course Monopoly!

Check out a company called "SimplyFun". I started with them a few months ago. They are a home party plan that specializes in family games for ages 3 and up to adults. The games are easy to learn and played in 30 minutes or less. Have a party, play the games, choose the ones you like, it is simple! I had a few parties, and everyone really had a good time. The games were a great hit. Makes for a fun family game night!

Apples to Apples, I love playing it with my family. Fun for all ages. Basically you have to match up nouns to adjectives, but it's a lot more entertaining than it sounds. Hilarious game.

Isn't incest the game the whole family can play? OTOH it may not be a particularly good game

Tell a story one sentence at a time - someone starts with a sentence and then alternate between family members adding one sentence at a time. This is fun anytime - dinner table, in the car, etc.
