  • i have seen it used for different things the first one was protection against evil spirits when worn as jewelry. the other was for the 5 elements: earth, air, fire, water and spirit. This symbol can be used in rituals but its original purpose was for good not evil. You could make a satanic symbol out of anything if you directed enough negative energy through it. but the pentagram or pentacle when it has a circle around it is for good.
