What do you mean by promotion. is it necessary, whether the promotion should be based on seniority basis or merit basis

    Promotion is an improvement over your current work status. It could mean more money, more responsibility, more authority, more prestige, a private office, more perks or better work hours or even being moved to a window view. Promotion is usually thought of as a reward for dedication and hardwork. I would never promote someone based on seniorty. Never. Good Luck!
