I like the guy. But, I can see how alot of people don't. I agree with much of what he has to say but I think that he gets a bad rap for how he says it. Most people, even Republicans, can agree that he isn't the most tactful person in the world. Freedom of speech being what it is, if people don't like him they can always tune in to someone else.

Good category choice for this Q.
-
I agree with a good portion of what he says, but I can't stand to listen to him. The size of his ego drives me insane.
-
I think he is the ultimate comedian.I think that he actually believes what he is saying. That is funny in itself.
-
He's just another entertainer like Sean Hannity, Mark Lavin, Michael Savage (who I think is sometimes a little too savage) Hugh Hewitt or Bill O'Reilly. As far as I'm concerned Rush Limbaugh is not the leader of anything but the "EIB Network". He has his opinions I have mine but I've got to ask why he's being attacked in this way. What if his comments actually reflect the attitude of the country? There must be some sort of substance there or he wouldn't have the audience that he has and he wouldn't have the number of critics that he has, with the White House being one of them. By the way, who decided that he represents the Republican Party? Granted there is a fair amount of B.S. - But then a generous amount of manure will grow anything - on either side of the aisle.

I'll never understand how anyone can listen to that blowhard without eventually considering him to be the ultimate horse's ass. He appears to just like to push people's buttons and try to pit them against each other politically while only giving the fanatical conservative side to each topic. I listened to him a few times when he first went on the air, but quickly learned that he is nothing more than an overly-pompous idiot... all bark and no substance.

His bald head shines too much on the radio.
-
He is a provocative right wing talk show host, that what he gets paid to do. If he doesn't perform then Rush will be fired. he operates within his constitutional rights, as can anyone right or left. If anyone disagrees with rush, that's why there are knobs on the radio...or the off switch.

Rush Limbaugh is a power-fetishist. His political views are influenced more so by extreme nationalism than any sort of objective system of law & order. Does he give a damn about the average citizen? No, he only cares about the honour and domination of the republican party, and the utter destruction of any opposition. It's funny, he often accuses his opponents of being fascists/communists - Yet his own style of debate is akin to Russian and North Korean media manipulation. I wouldn't be surprised if his middle name was "Megalomania"
-
In my opinion he's just a "Sensationalist Entertainer", like a "Shock Jock"... neither of which I pay too much attention.
-
He reminds me of an Eunuch at an Orgy.
-
I don't.
-
He's basically an entertaining propagandist. What valid points he does make are skewered by factual spin and opinion. He's not really informative. He's not objective and lets you know he has a strong right-wing bias. He knows how to push the right buttons in people who are angry about various issues. You can't fault the man because he has a ready audience.
-
Just a radio man stating his opinions.
-
Someone who has far too many listeners. You would think more people would want to generate their own opinions about whats going on in the world...
-
I think he is a man with no respect, for other people's opinions, a fluke, and a Scrooge.
-
I like to listen to Rush. But he usually goes to far to the right for me.
-
i like him. i haven't listened in years, but he has a good radio voice that makes you want to stay tuned. he's funny, too and, what's more important, he isn't afraid to say to speak the truth.

I am Republican, and every single one of my coworkers are Democrat. What is funny is that whenever politics come up, they never talk about issues with me, they always try to use Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly against me. It seems that they have both majorly succeeded in gaining a large audience. In fact, I don't know very many Repubs that watch/listen to them, but it seems every Dem I know watches/listens to them religiously. They seem to think that we get all of our ideologies and principles from these clowns...which we don't, but they seem to think that if they prove those two clowns to be crazy, then it proves that the Dems are right and the Repubs are wrong. It is funny. They have capitalized on the insecurities of the democrats. Funny and ironic.

Rush wouldn't have a job without Rupert Murdoch and the neo-cons in the media.
-
I think he gives Republicans a bad name.
-
He certainly tends to go over the top and say things which are in no way appropriate, however he brings up a lot of good points. The media makes him out to be a dumbass, but he's actually smarter than most people would think.
-
I think he is a hypocrite. He claims to love this country yet he wants our current president to fail.
