You'll be most likely numbed, and won't feel much of anything. Thinking about that always made me feel better! They're experiened, they know what they're doing, and you'll be just fine :)
I got back from the dentist a few hours ago. I was in the chair for two hours. He had to remove an old crown, drill out decay, and fit me for a new crown (starting with a temp).
Modern dentistry (for the last 30 - 40 years) is almost completely painless. I actually look forward to going b/c I like to joke with the beautiful Asian girls at the reception desk.
What is it that seems scary?
You will be fine. Getting the procedure done should be painless.
Is bicarbonate of soda safe to use on veneers?

Thanks That helps a lot , i have to go soon, and yeah well I am scared out of my mind sometimes! lol I know I am a bit of a baby but i have had some bad experience with dentists :$ :)
