fuck black history month. What about all of the other ethnicities in this country? I thought the civil rights movement was about EQUAL rights, not special rights.

i'm sorry, i have to disagree with you here, if they make a latin american month, what about all the other nationalities like: italian, irish, german, french?
if you are going to do for 1 it should be done for all, or none. and just celebrate being happy that you are an american!

Look up the Independence Movements in South America. Latin Americans suffered a fate like that of Americans in that they were ran by a foreign country. They should be respected and their culture should be celebrated because they are our neighbors and, historical relatives.

It would be a far more attractive world if all cultures had their fair share.
