Help answer this question below.
Yes, even if she did kiss him she has the right to say no. She should report it to the police or if she doesn't want to make sure she at least sees a doctor.
Fact from fiction, truth from diction. This is a classic example why one should remain fuller in their own faculties. Too allow yourself to be do drung or stone you have no ability to escape, avoid, or prevent any adverse situsation is just plain stupid. Technically it would fall on him but actually she is just as guilty if there was any guilt to be had anyhow.
Yes, NO means NO. It doesn't matter if the women was a prostitute.
Of course it is. Why did she drop the charges?
one word me friend, YES.
Yes it was rape
Yes, it was, and it needs to be immediately reported.
Yes, it is rape.
yes..she needs to report this to the police now!!!!
no means no, so it is rape. i question why any girl would get so drunk at a party and not expect bad things to happen. females have to take responsibility for their actions, too. If she was that drunk she really doesnt know what she said and what happened.
No means no!
yes it was rape. but the fault lies with her just as much. she drank too much and she kissed back but was saying no. that is why some rape cases are so cloudy. was it rape or not. she did say no, so a man should understand that, but her actions spoke louder than her words. thats a gray area.
Definately rape. When someone is intoxicated, they are incapable of giving consent.
Yes it is rape and Kingpinn is on the nail when alcohol enters the picture that takes consent out of the equation. The young girl needs help and support. It needs to be reported as soon as possible and the young girl will need counselling support, a rape kit done as well as STD testing and the morning after pill if the rapist did not use protection. The rapist needs to be stopped so do not let your young friend make you swear to secrecy and not report the incident as this can often compound the victims ability to psychologically deal with the situation. You will hurt her more by attempting to bury the situation if she asks you to say no and tell your parents and ask for their help in getting help for your friend. This young man aka rapist will continue to rape until he is caught.
if she said no and he ignored her, of course its rape. her kissing back and her being a virgin has no bearing on the matter.
First I think rape is wrong, but if it wasn't, how many guys would like to take it and be turned on having to take it, instead of it given?

You're reading My friend was very drunk at a party and an older guy brung her in a room and had sex with her. Yes, she was kissing back, but she said no to sex. he still did it. She was a virgin, and she got up bloody and hurt and ran to a friends place. Was this rape?

She did go to the hospital that night since her friend told her mom and her mom did the motherly thing to do and so on. She did also file a police report and went to court, but they dropped the charges. Even though the guy is 22 and shes 16 so just that alone is illegal. Virginia laws are SHIT.

Yeah, that is definetly wrong!! Wow, they should'a incarserated him!

That's horrible but sadly really commonplace. Rape is a difficult crime to prove and the courts/ law enforcement often don't treat the victims with the respect and compassion they deserve.

Are you sure its illegal the age thing? Most people falsely believe the age of conscent to be 18, but in most states its 16.

I think it's 18, there is a close age exception when your with a partner who is also under the age of 18.
