• I'm not really sure. It probably depends on the school. The one I go to is part of the same school board as the public high school I attended prior to switching. Basically, an alternative school/program is an 'alternative to mainstream schooling'.

• It's better for me. Besides, my grades have drastically improved. I've failed a lot of courses, barely failed courses, and just barely based courses. I could be getting higher grades and ideally, I should have graduated in June. At this new school, I am getting marks in the 90s.
