Have you ever bought anything at a garage sale, estate sale or thrift store, then tried to resell it for profit? If so, were you successful? You may give details if you wish.

    Yes I have.I collect American art pottery.I bought a vase for a dollar and fifty cents and resold it for sixty five dollars to a friend who needed that piece for his Roseville collection.That was a tidy little profit:)

    I bought this lovely amethyst colored glass jar i a local thrift shop, but I did not have any success selling it. Maybe that's why it was still in the store.
