Help answer this question below.

Does anyone know the remote control programing code for a Panasonic TV/VCR Combo, PV-M1358W? I am trying to program my cable digital remote to turn on the TV along with the cable box.

    Don't bother calling Comcast; they are essentially brain dead. I found a listing on another blog that suggested adding a 1 to the front of the 4-digit codes listed for your equipment. Responses from a large number of surfers seemed to support that this works. There was also a reference to adding a 2 vs a 1, but that was for a DVR if memory serves. Good luck.

    Having the same problem as you with my Panny Plasma and will be checking-out (fingers crossed) the "1" solution.

    I called Comcast, and they simply read to me the codes that are on the instruction sheet, and which I already knew do not work. Any other ideas?

    You can call comcast and give then your tv model number and they will be able to give you the codes if that is who your service is with.
