I haven't read the Alchemist, but, and I may be wrong, I think that it reflects existential themes. If you are intrested in existential literature, read Kafka, Camus, and Marqez.
Some titles are: One Hundread Years of Solitude, The Plague, The Stranger, THe Castle, The Trial, Amerika;
I am looking for a catholic book called st. therese and the roses but can't seem to find it.I only find the kids version I need adult help!
