Help answer this question below.

Can someone tell me why men tell dirty (sexual) jokes to women? I thought that was something guys told each other. I am not feminist but sometimes the jokes can be pretty distugusting and am I supposed to laugh?

    If a man tells dirty jokes in front on women, especially woman they don't know very well, it is an indication of how low class and probably uneducated they are. A man with class would not do that.

    Any mature man wouldn't tell a girl man jokes. It's just demeaning and rude, that's why they are only for men. Those guys you know should know that.

    First of all, if you aren't a feminist, you do realize that means that you don't think men and women should have equal rights, and therefore I'm assuming you don't vote, don't drive a car, and don't have access to equal education. If that's true, I'm highly amused. Secondly, men aren't the only ones who tell dirty jokes. Women tell plenty. As for a man telling a dirty joke to a woman, it really depends on the relationship I have with that person as far as how ok I think that is. If this person is my best friend or a close pal, I know who they are and where they are coming from and I can be completely amused. If it's a co-worker I'm disgusted because you are supposed to have morals and ethics and respect for the people you work with and that can clearly be offensive. If it's a stranger, that leaves a really poor impression. Again, as long as you know where it's coming from and the mindset of the person telling it, I wouldn't be offended at all.

    I love hearing guy jokes! I don't wanna be excluded from them because of my gender. I can take a joke. I'll tell them some of mine in return gladly. I feel that being a feminist would entail wanting to not be excluded from humor based on gender.
