With Blue Cross, does a doctor need to refer the patient for an Otolaryngology (ear/nose/throat doctor), OR can someone just call the Otolaryngologists directly?

    It depends on the plan. Coverage varies so call BCBS, give them your numbers and ask them. They'll let you know for sure.
