I would assume it still honors it. Not too many are in circulation anymore though since collectors retain most of them. They're still honored due to the little phrase on all American cash that says "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private." I used to have a few, but then I sold them to a collector..

I have a few. Every time I go to the bank I ask for $20 or so. They make GREAT tips! No one forgets the customer with the $2 bills!

We do honor the $2 bill, but we don't make them anymore obviously. I have a few of them. It's not like they're SUPER rare or anything. I think most people I know have one.

They don't make it anymore but you can still spend one if you have one.
-
Yes, we do. I have many.

I have 10 of these $2 bills. Holding for some reason. May give them to my grandkids. Really don't know.
-
Yes America still honours them. Actually I have two that my penpal sent me from Michigan 35 years ago.

Yes indeed. My dad usually only gets those from the bank and carries them around. You should see people at walmart or the fast food joint. They almost freak out when you pay with one. Some have even said, "I need to get my manager" . . . they didn't even know where to put it in the cash drawer. They are not as special as them seem. They were printed in 95 and in 03. I think you can request them at any bank. I like to get those and the presidential one dollar coins. They will always make for some interesting fun.

yes we do honor anything that is authentic US currency, even if they stopped printing it nearly 100 years ago.. I found this wiki article fascinating, it has pictures of America's $100,000 bills, that, obviously, are no longer being printed.

It is legal tender. You can still get them at banks sometime. Ask, they may have some. I get them when I can just to give to kids. Makes them remember you and it does seem to be twice as valuable as the one dollar bill.
