definition of "reckless driving" states any person who drives any vehicle in a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property is guilty of reckless driving.
Does this refer to your situation?
ask...What "property", what "persons" were in danger of "what"?

none the less, a lawyer may be a good idea!

I personally got a lawyer, and got the reckless ticket dropped down to a very minor infraction that the judge let me clear with traffic school. I spent $1000 on the lawyer, but a reckless in california is a heavy ticket, 2points for SEVEN years.

Depends on the details of why your were charged with reckless driving. this charge can include most anything the police officer believes you did to endanger the lives of others. it can be drag racing, weaving in and out of traffic or excessive speed. it also, in extreme situations, can be used if you were on a cellphone and were the cause of a personal injury accident. reckless driving is a serious offense. your drivers license could be revoked, depending on your past driving record and the seriousness of the current violation.
