  • I've only lived in the city and it feels like home, but I have visited the country and it seems cool. I like the scenery and the lifestyle seems laid back. Nice people too.
  • I live about 23 miles from the nearest town of any significance, and I love it. I've lived in big cities, and medium sized cities, and small towns, and I much prefer the country. Why? Fewer people, less congestion, less pollution, less noise, more freedom, etc, etc, etc. : ))
  • I have lived in both and they each have perks. The city had places within walking distance and kids/friends were close enough to play with safely. I'm now outside the city and I like the quiet, cleaner neighborhood, lower taxes and fresh water supply. Less traffic too!
  • Country life....Quiet, less crime, fresh air (kinda), wilderness and more freedom.
  • I live in the country and I prefer it. I like the wide open spaces and not having a neighbor right on top of me. I like being able to go out and burn my trash when I want to . And I can see the stars and the sunsets out here which I could not in the city. The peace and quiet and nature are very calming and relaxing in this world that we have today. Cities - I hated the traffic the most and the neighbors that lived about 3 feet away from my place! I didn't like being watched all the time!
  • I've lived in both the city and the country ... I prefer the country for the privacy .... and serenity ... especially living in the woods or wooded area ...
