If the server hits the opposing Net Player, is this a fault? My opponent claimed they got the point but I read the rules to state the server is to serve the ball diaganolly into the service box.

if the server hits the opposing net player before the ball bounces then the point goes to the server. The net player being hit has prevented the ball from landing in the diagnolly opposed service box, even if the ball had no realistic chance of going in.
