  My friend has a wonderful picture of her that she wants me to change to black and white, except she doesnt like the pic so much because her nose and cheeks are very oily looking. Is there anyway to take this out of the image?? I would be using GIMP 2

  I have managed to view a scanned image saved as a .tiff file - I now would like to upload the image to a webpage for my friends to see but am not sure how to do it. Will they need to download software such as 'infranview' in order to view the .tiff file?

  Gimp 2.4.6 on windows xp sp3 complex selection, rectangle, then intel scissors w/add option. have exact area i want modified, with marching ants. no paint tool has any effect on selection. tried anchoring no luck help!
