  • I doubt video games have anything to do with it. I was pretty good at that sort of thing before the Atari 2600 hit the market. Of course, back then schools were funded well enough that they could pay closer attention to the students and weed out the potentially troubled ones. The fact that many such kids like violent video games is a coincidence, not a cause. Besides, if my last few deathmatches are any indication, the kids today aren't competent to handle any sort of REAL apocolypse; they spray-and-pray thinking that ammo is abundant and there is a quad-damage right around the corner. Amateurs.
