"Sully" the kitten poops outside the litter box. Never in the same spot (so it is hard to do the food trick) but it is always on carpet (usually in a corner). She sits and kneads her claws in the carpet for a minute, walks in circles and poops. HELP?

Why does one of our cats beat on the inside of the covered litter box when she's going potty? Even when it's clean!

Someone left me a -1. Just curious as to what they saw different. If I'm wrong (and as a human, sometimes that happens) please let me know so I don't spread the wrong answers around.
