Many private businesses doing business internationally can use your language capacity in many ways. You just need to look into that properly.

If you speak another language besides english (or your local language) you'll want to market yourself in a way that highlights it as you are therefore more flexible and valuable to a business than someone who can not. Any business currently doing business or contemplating doing business internationally is your target. I used to know a woman who worked for an airline who said that because she didn't speak another language it was difficult. She travelled to other countries checking compliance of regulations. What is your background?
