    Not really Country Folk Tales , although a lot of old country folk are pretty close in weather predictions.
    We are 6 weeks early with the emergence of Spring flowers here( South Eastern England) just hope we do not get too many hard frosts to kill them

    No, it's strictly myth. The ability's claimed by the famous Punxsutawney Phil, are based on nothing more than Celtic legend.

    No, because its a silly folk legend about a dirty animal which people now exploit to increase tourism and raise television ratings.

    It has been scientifically disproved, and is of absolutly no merit.
