I am currently on the depo injection, is it possible to take the pill to even out my periods and perhaps miss one for my holiday?

    No.

Don't take pills on top of the Depo. The Depo shot has enough hormones in it to last for 3 months. Taking pills on top of that would be crazy. I have no idea what it might do to your system - but I doubt that MORE hormones would be good for you.

This is a topic that is best discussed with your doctor.

I know a lot of people who didn't like the shot simply because it screwed with their system and they had irregular periods, some of which lasted crazy long amounts of time. Other people don't have these issues. This may just mean that depo may not be the best option for you, but unfortunately it takes 3 months before you can do something else instead.
