No, I'm more into writing stuff so I don't think I would ever work for a car manufacturer.
In a way yes because my work adds to their profits. Let me explain.
I have bought their car and I use it so, obviously there is wear and tear.That would mean servicing which results in earnings for the manufacturer. So, first they make money by selling their vehicle to me.Then my driving the vehicle(my working) makes more profit for them.
so, yes I work for Ford.
Am I EMPLOYED by them? No. :):)
