Help answer this question below.
No way. I found a job, she can find herself a job. Hell, the child should be working....
Wait...I'm not a conservative Republican. Of course I would help. God forbid I found myself in that position. It's not socialism, it's not charity; it's doing the right thing.
Of course. I would take them for a meal and give them some money. I would also try to stay in touch to see how they were faring.
In a second. I would take them to eat and help them get information on aid from the government or social services.
It's happened. I offered to buy them food and they took it. I also bought them bottles of water. They could re use em if they really needed to :)
No.
I wouldn't hand them cash, but I'd buy them a bag of groceries or take them out to eat.
Absolutely
without a doubt.
Why not?
I always give homeless people money or food, but if we are talking about a mother and child, I would probably take them in as long as I didnt think it was a scam.
SURE.
Yes, I would buy them groceries.
If I came to believe, or reasonably sense, that they were destitude through no fault of their own, yes, I would help.
I HAVE helped many people during their hard times...but I've known them, and knew they were deserving of the assist. If everyone would do that, "taking care of their own", so to speak, the destitude seeking help from strangers, would be far fewer.
Sure would. I'm not a republican. No kid on earth, but CERTAINLY here in the US, should go hungry.
Of course!!! I'd take them to get some food and try to get them into a shelter like a Mission, so they could get on their feet.
Yeah I would. I think you have to question the motive of some panhandlers, but when a child is involved, I'd just go ahead and take the chance of getting ripped off for a few bucks. More than likely, they are legit...
I would be honored to do that. It would give me great feelings.
I would refer them to a local welfare site and maybe give them some money to buy food, but at times like these, it is hard enough to help yourself than to help the needy too.
Is the mom hot?
I would definitely do something but not sure what.
Yes, I'd take them to a restaurant for a good meal as well call a local women's shelter to make sure they are taken care of.
it would depend on several things,
1. do i have the money to spare?
2. do they look like they really need or are they just bumming (every day i'm asked for money by the same two bums on my way to work, both proudly displaying their "Beggars" licenses (a 10.00 value)sorry, i will not give money to some one who spent 10.00 buying a license to beg for money.
if they really need help and i have anything to spare, sure i.d buy them some groceries or at least a meal and direct them to the salvation army offices for more long range help.
define help?
Depends where... definatly not in barcelona! They are totally out to scam....! I would look to help as best i could to my ability or tell them where they culd go 2 get help... just be cautious of being robbed or scammed x
If anyone came to me and said they were hungry and broke, I would do what I could. Of course I would have to have the feeling they were not scamming.
yesw, what,s the point?
If they seemed genuine, probably. What form that help would take would depend on the details of their circumstances.
I would take them to get some fast food, and after they were nice and full off that I would take them to the grocery store and let them pick out some real food to have.
Yes.
I would offer them a meal in my home, and I would give them the card from the food bank where I volunteer every Thursday, and possibly offer them a few lessons in self defense and health science, but I NEVER give money.
Of course i will..
Only a bastard would do the opposite..
Their names are "Hungry" and "Broke"?
Yes, I did.
.
Certainly, with no hesitation!
I have taken such people into my house and feed them and let them shower and helped them get back on their feet.I have given my Leather Jacket off my back and gave it to a homeless person when it was cold out side.
I would if I had anything myself...Id share, sure.
