Mom used to buy me corduroy pants all the time when I was younger. They were NOT the "in" thing to wear at the time, so I have since developed an extreme dislike for them. I never did like the "voop-voop-voop" sound they made when you walked with them on. I have one nice pair of corduroy pants in like-new condition. They are nearly 15 years old, never worn (except for fit) and were a Christmas gift from my wife's parents when we were dating. I will not throw them away because they were a gift. Everybody told me that I could exchange them if I wanted...but I never did. I'm still the same size, so they should still fit me. Perhaps someday I will wear them...just to be different. We'll see!

I don't ever remember seeing my husband in a pair of corduroy pants, not even before we were married 35 years ago. I'm the one who has worn the corduroy in the family :-)

I have a huge collection of corduroy jeans (almost 200) and pants (almost 100). I own 25 corduroy suits, more than 100 cord shirts, at least 50 corduroy sport jackets. I always wear corduroy since I was a college student. For Summer, I own more than 100 cord shorts. Should I say I love corduroys (fine wale, medium wale and wide wale for the Winter months. I bought my first golden brown corduroy suit when I was a business student. I would regularly go in class with corduroy jeans and a matching corduroy jacket (tan and brown, gray and black or marine, loden green and brown. I was a good Levis customer. I owned one of each. My nephews know where to come to have new corduroys. I love to shop for corduroys and they know I wild gladly pay for it. They also know that their uncle loves to hug them when they wear corduroy.
