Help answer this question below.

My pet rabbit has started nesting and the only question i cant find the answer to is can i clean her out she lives in a large cuboard under stairs i have seperated her from other rabbits but the box she has with straw etc in really needs cleaning out help

    Normally you don't place the nestbox in the cage or hutch until the 28th day. That way it won't get dirty and won't need cleaning until the kits are older and can take the moving and cleaning more easily. If she hasn't had them yet, then take the straw and hay out and put in a nestbox with hay and straw in it on the 28th day of gestation. Usually they like to pull their fur on that day or just before they kindle.
