I have had serious back pain for about 2 years now, all my Dr. has done so far is give me pain killers...as of right now, i have to take 2 oxycodones (5/325 mg) and 2 hydrocodones (750 mg each) and my back STILL hurts, is this

    you need to find a new physician. i'm not sure what type of doctor you are seeing now, but you need to consult a physician that specializes in pain management. if that's what you're already seeing, find a different one.

    there are many different meds for managing pain, as well as medical devices (spinal cord stimulators) and surgery.

    if your current therapy of oxycodone & hydrocodone is not controlling your pain, your doctor either needs to adjust the dose or consider one of the other options listed above. i'm sorry you are in pain.
