Humans think for themselves... Mankind don't. Crouds are easily manipulated into thinking anything you want to make them think... It's easy to spread some kind of "gossip" and make most of the people believe in it. If you want to make ONE person beleive it, tho, you would need more persuation.

Some humans are actually like this and they are called followers and gullable people. On the other hand there are humans who are leaders and live their lives according to what they want, wish or feel. there are also people in between...people who can be leaders but at the same take other peoples advises. humans are classified in many ways...not all humans are the same and thats what makes life so interesting

On the whole I believe that people can be manipulated into behaving likes mobs and thinking like flocks of sheep. We are all individuals and have freedom of thought, it is a pity that a large percentage of people will not try to use the intelligence that they were given. Some strong personalities can make the toughest group into a mob of followers (Hitler)
