Do people who still think that witchcraft is real believe that people choose to become witches or that they are just born that way?

Being a witch (wicca,wiccan) is a choice. Someone really can't be born a witch because it is a religon (pagan) Just like someone can't be born a christian. Hope this helps

Many witches believe that everyone is born with the ability to connect to the energies that are found in all things. However, it is those who choose to use those energies to bring about a specific result (Witchcraft), though, that are called witches. There are, however, people who are born into witch families that are typically inclined to witchcraft and have a better time acclimating to it because they grew up with it (and have their families knowledge and practice to learn from). There are also those who are born with a stronger natural ability (such as clairvoyance, empathy, etc.). However, anyone can learn these skills through meditation and practice - the one born with the stronger skill merely has a head start because of unknown factors from birth.

i personaly think everyone has power. and to be a witch you must choose to use it and follow a path to useing it. we are all born witches. few know it and choose to follow a path.
