  • Yes tht is how most people get married.
  • Yes you would be legally married. He has to sign the marriage certificate etc but a minister will know how to do all of those things. Good luck to you!
  • You do not have to have a minister to marry you to be "legally" married. a justice of the peace or judge can do so and you are really married in the eyes of the law... There are some churches whom will marry you in the name and eyes of the church but do not sign a marriage certificate because to be married in a church by a minister should not require a certificate issued by a government intidy to have permission to marry. I for one think marriage is good for some, but not everyone. Marriage is not the answer to personal problems and often makes them worse. Too many people enter into marriage more in lust than in love. Many if not most are ill prepared for the married life. They spend thousands even hundreds of thousands of dollars for a marriage for a 15 minute ceromony and big dinner. I think it would be far better for the couple to have a simple ceromony then use the rest of the money to help the couple to get started in their lives together for a home or for what they really need besides a fancy ceromony for a marriage that bearly has a 50/50 chance to survive 7 years in today's world. I am not down on marriage...only the rediculas amounts of money wasted on them. You don't have to have an ordained minister marry you to "REALLY" be married.
