I've often wondered why women seem to wear them almost all the time. I'm glad someone mentioned the job requirement angle; I hadn't thought of that. I appreciate them not wanting to be perceived as objects; but at some point dressing to avoid being seen as an object actually encourages it, feeding the cultural schizophrenia which has brought us to the point that breasts are seen *primarily* as sex objects rather than what they are designed for - so that women have had to fight to breast-feed in public, and some women in our society actually call breast-feeding "unnatural." Unnatural! Can you believe that? How twisted is that? Breasts are breasts, nipples are nipples, bulges are bulges ... I wish we'd just get over it and recognize that men and women are different, their parts are natural and good, and sexuality is nothing to apologize for. There's a scene in the movie, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World," in which Terry Thomas has a brief monologue about American society's obsession with "bosoms." It's funny. :)
