Both "The Shining" and "The Stand".
to me a lot of them fall apart at the end. i liked Pet Cemetary which didnt.

i never actually read the girl who loved tom gordon...i tried to...but i kept falling asleep?...last few books by him didnt make me want to run right out and get the next one....anyone know of any good horror authors?similar to old king or saul?
I think "The Regulators" ( as another answer said, under Richard Bachman ) is Classic King in Kick-Ass, Full-Throttle, Gang-Busters Horror! A complete rush from start to finish! Wow!
