  • OK, as long as you dont get out of control with it. I know this has nothing to do with the question, but What part of cincinnati are you in?
  • If you're over 21 and drink in moderation, I have no problems with it.
  • College is a place for exploring personal and sociological boundaries as well as receiving formal education. I think experimentation is normal, and healthy within reason. The most important part is whether or not you learn to handle situations of freedom with an equal amount of responsibility.
  • Drink till you drop..thats what 95% of college kids do.so ok ..lol
  • OK, at least for me it was...frequently.
  • NOT OK. College is supposed to be for learning, not being too drunk or hung-over to study or learn anything.
  • Manditory.
  • College is NOT a place "for exploring personal and sociological boundaries". That is the lie. For some reason society tells you to experiment in college and "have fun". You have to remember that everything you do has consequences. I would take back two years of my college life if I could remember what I did during that time. I spent a ton of money on booze and had to retake some classes due to my partying. I would not recommend it at all. Go party within certain levels. Don't be the person staying home on a Thursdya or Friday night, but don't be the person that passes out on the quad either.
  • College is place of Educational, Social, Spiritual, and Personal learning. Drinking is a part of the college life. Being responsible for yourself is a part of that learning you will be doing. You are paying for an education so I would suggest you focus more on your classes then your social life. I don't mean to say be a bookworm but try to balance and moderate yourself with everything you do in life. Especially alcohol. Drinking is fine as long as it is the right time and place. If you are a girl, be cautious especially because there are people out there that are up to no good. Drinking on the night before your mid-term...Not Okay. Drinking on a weekend, Ok. Hopefully you will understand once you get a feel for it. Know your limits and be safe.
  • You go to a night club or bar to drink. You go to college to learn. Combining the two.......DO NOT MIX.
  • I you are of legal drinking age, and drink in moderation, why not? Learn to drink responsibly. Do not drink and drive.
  • Isn't it part of the college experience?
  • Ok, if you are of ag, but it will interfere with your studying.
  • It's okay. But only if you stay in control. I drink probably once every month or two and I only have a little bit. I've never been trashed. I've never blacked out or thrown up. I've never been hung over. It's *not* okay when you do it every weekend. A lot of people party all week long, too. That's not healthy and it's certainly not good for your education.
  • Drinking is an integral part of college life according to me :)..just don't overdo it and know your limits and stick to it..It can be real fun having a blast with your friends..:)
  • Not during class and only if you are of legal drinking age. Why not have a little fun sometimes.
  • Time and place is everything. I don't think alcohol is appropriate for just anywhere on college grounds. Drink during the day, NOT OK either. When classes are over, and students are socialising then that's OK. In the corridors and foyers, NOT OK. In closed rooms, where noise is contained, that's OK. Get my picture?
