  • I don't think that Vista is what's giving you the problem. In fact, I'm going to test it here to show you that Vista machines can and will embed videos from YouTube. First, can you view the video? If not, then you may need to install (or reinstall) Adobe Flash Player. If you can see YouTube videos, my guess is that one may accidentally use the URL code instead of the Embed code (I've done this before). Click on picture below. If it's not either of these, then let me know and I'll keep trying to help.
  • I always try the simple stuff first. Are your cookies enabled?
  • don't know if this will help, but I use RealPlayer (free version).It puts a download tab above the right side video you are looking at, so if you hover your mouse it pops up, you click on it, and it will proceed to download the vid to your drive. No converter needed. Works in Firefox 3 now too, as well as IE7. Should have thought it would be Vista friendly. http://uk.real.com/player/win/
