  • I don't think so, but I wish to heck someone would invent one. I use digital at work most of the time, but occasionally need 35mm.... it'd be great if I could take a 35mm photo but see instant results on the screen like digital. Great question, Shultz.
  • I doubt it. Some of the big camera manufacturers have manufactured interchangeable digital and film backs for their lenses. But I don't thin k anyone has done a hybrid back. It would be just too complicated: better to have two separate backs and let people choose as needed.
  • Leica has a 35mm digital back: http://www.outbackphoto.com/reviews/equipment/leica_dmr/leica_dmr.html and for MF, notably Hasselblad there are digital backs: http://www.phaseone.com/Content/p1digitalbacks/Compatibility%20chart.aspx But this is gear for the pros, we are talking thousands of dollars/Euros. Maybe someone comes out with a digital back for popular bodies, but I would not hold my breath that a company would come out with a new dedicated hybrid. Many camera makers are right now abandoning film completely.
