I'm not a virgin but I didn't lose mine until 21 (I'm almost 23 now). I don't think age should have anything to do with sex, it's not about age maturity but emotional maturity more so. You have to be able to deal with it, it's not just physical. And again it's all up to the person and their situation/beliefs. If you're 17 and in a solid mature relationship and decide to have sex, I wouldn't stop you because you're under 18. And if you're 30 and a virgin and have your reasons, that's fine also. Believe me, it's a much better idea to wait until you're ready/comfortable/trusting to have sex than to 'get it over with' just for the sake of losing your virginity and wanting to be cool. If you do it in that case, you'll regret it. I'm glad I didn't have sex in my teens cause I know I would've regretted it; I waited until I found someone I really trusted and felt in sync with and it's amazing :)

In my heart, I wish I was still physically a virgin. However, I am a "born again" or "second generation" virgin. It was a HUGE mistake (I did things b/c I really thought he was "the one" and wanted to make him happy). I will not do anything again until I am married.

I am quite a bit older and am still a virgin and have never had a girlfreind, the reason is that most women are not really interested. But I am in the real world with a good job, I am happy and enjoy my life. So go and enjoy your life you do not need sex to be happy.
