What postage should I put on an envelope with 4 thick pieces of paper in it? It feels like I need more than one stamp.

    It's by weight and I've found that usually if I use more than 2 pages I need anothe stamp.

    Up here in Canada the rate jumps at 3o grams and again at 100 grams and then again and again. The US and Canadian standards are pretty much the same although in the US you pay less postage. I think three sheets will go in a 30 gram envelop. Go to USPS.com or CanadaPost.ca for the weight and price infor as appropriate

    Throw two stamps on it. A few extra cents isn't going to break the bank and you'll have more certainty that it will get there.
